Devlog #11 - Arena Fixes & Steam Page Prep!
Hello fighters!
This past week has been all about bugfixing the Arena Scene and preparing our Steam page for launch.
On the technical side, we tackled a handful of annoying issues in the arena, including:
-
Character sprite alignment and scaling fixes for smaller races (no more goblins in oversized pants!).
-
Paperdoll visual bugs: Shields and helmets now render properly in combat.
-
Facing logic improvements: Enemies now spawn facing the player.
-
General combat refinements and cleanup, preparing the game for more consistent turn-based flow.
Meanwhile, we also made a big step forward:
The Steam store page is almost ready! All the capsules, tags, content warnings, and descriptors are in place. Once it's live, you'll be able to wishlist Chains on Sand and follow development more closely.
Stay tuned for more updates—and as always, thank you for supporting this gritty little arena roguelike!
